Is this test for me?
Recommended for
The Bloodprint Basic test is an economical choice for anyone who wants to find out if they have any allergies or sensitivities to foods most commonly eaten on a daily basis. The test covers a wide range of foods known to cause allergies, including milk, eggs, nuts, fish, shellfish, soybeans, and wheat. Consider this test if you
- Eat mainly the most common foods
- Are primarily concerned with inflammation from certain foods
- Have been looking for low-cost testing options
Signs of Food Allergies
Signs of food sensitivity or intolerance typically occur within hours to days after eating a specific type of food. Food allergies may show up immediately or within minutes to hours of eating. The signs and symptoms vary depending on the food allergy as well as the individual.
- Skin rash or hives
- Tingly or itchy feeling inside the mouth
- Swelling of lips, tongue, throat, and face
- Stomach cramps or pain
- Diarrhea or flatulence
- Indigestion or gas
- Nausea or vomiting
- Difficulty swallowing or breathing
- Dizziness or fainting
Allergy Test Symptoms
Our Bloodprint panels test for food-specific IgE antibodies found in samples of your blood. These antibodies are made by the immune system in response to specific foods that cause an allergic reaction. A small sample of blood is collected by finger-prick or venipuncture, depending on what your doctor recommends. There is very little risk to getting a blood test as compared to oral and skin prick allergy tests that directly expose you to allergy-causing foods. Minor symptoms from the blood collection typically go away quickly.

“This is my testimony for Immuno 1 Bloodprint by Immuno Laboratories. I have had chronic gastrointestinal problems for the last six or seven years associated with fatigue. I have tried everything from numerous supplements, cleanses, special diets, yoga, etc. Nothing gave me relief. My naturopath suggested that I get my blood checked for delayed food hypersensitivity and said that your lab was the only one he uses because of its accuracy. After omitting those foods that your labs said I was sensitive to, my symptoms rapidly improved over about a week or so. In fact, I was a bit skeptical and even tried re-introducing one of the foods I was reactive to, and my symptoms came back, only to subside once again after omitting it a second time. Immuno 1 Bloodprint is truly the missing key that I was looking for in alleviating my chronic GI problems and fatigue.”
— Layne Golan, M.D.
“I did the food intolerance test from Immuno Labs. My dietician suggested it to improve my recovery, optimize my body composition, and for better performance. I lost over 12 lbs in the first four weeks, my energy increased, my skin looks better, and I am recovering much faster. I would recommend the food intolerance test from Immuno Labs, not only to athletes, but also to anybody that wants to improve metabolism, health, or lose weight.”
— Thiago Silva, UFC Fighter
The following are the answers to commonly asked questions about food allergies and our food allergy test.
What is the difference between food allergy vs. intolerance vs. sensitivity?
When someone with a food allergy eats something they’re allergic to, their body creates an immune response because it views that food as harmful. This response can lead to life-threatening symptoms like low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, and anaphylaxis.
Food intolerance is the inability to digest and process certain foods. Unlike allergies, food intolerances involve the digestive system and aren’t caused by an immune response. The most common symptoms of food intolerance include abdominal pain, gas, or diarrhea.
Food sensitivities are symptoms not related to intolerances or food allergies that people experience after eating certain foods. When someone eats a food they’re sensitive to, they can experience an immune response that causes non-life-threatening symptoms like joint pain, rash, fatigue, stomach pain, and brain fog.
How accurate is the food sensitivity test?
Immuno Labs has its own facility to control and test with absolute accuracy. We provide precise test results based on over 50 quality controls in our modern, independent laboratory.
What will the food allergy and sensitivity test tell me?
The Bloodprint® Basic tests 88 antigens. The results provide insight into what foods you are sensitive or allergic to so you know what to avoid and how to better take control of your health.
